hi ho hi ho, it's off to work we go!
Marnie has started full time work this week. Mark has been working with a builder friend of his while he has gone through the application process for the New Zealand police. He will be working with emergency calls and goes in today to start his first day of training. Marnie meanwhile has taken a job at a gym working in the sales department. She basically brings people into the gym, takes them on tours and sells them a membership. Although it's not her dream job she really enjoys the people she is working with and loves that her job is working with people all day, particularly with people who want to make healthy choices and start regular exercise. A bonus for her is a free membership, and part of her job is having a personal trainer and doing the group exercise classes so she knows what she is selling....yesterday it was boxing, and let's just say ouch! She knew she was out of shape, living indoors in Afghanistan will do that to you, but man, she hasn't been this sore.....well, since never! It's good though and again, one more step towards feeling a bit more settled.

It sounds like your job has great perks! I really miss going to the gym.
I think we'd make a great midwife/doula team! I don't think I'll be moving to Afghanistan or NZ any time soon. Do you have any thoughts about moving to LA?
