Now, why would you want to put this face to sleep? Laila has figured out that I am a whole lot more likely to pick her back up when she smiles at me than when she screams. She was so fussy and tired this morning but it took her 45 minutes to stop talking to the flowers on her wall and go to sleep, funny girl, oh well, I'll take it!

I would never suspect you're a first time mommy:) I am so impressed you are putting her to bed awake. I only figured that out with the second one, and boy has it already made a difference in how long he sleeps for the night.
