View from the front
So I know it seems like our life now does not exist outside of Laila, and that's pretty much true, but just for those of you who are interested, here's a couple of photos to update you on progress of the house my boss and I are building. It's a huge house (540 square metres or 5812 square feet) and we've been building it for over 6 months now. After some slow going getting the lower half built (thousands of conrete blocks), we finally got the 2nd storey slab poured and have now got the frames up. Hopefully be getting the roof on in about 3 weeks or so, but still a long way to go.

And now that winter has hit and the price of veges are going through the roof (along with the price of everything else), I have again impressed myself by growing perfect broccoli which we've picked and frozen to get us through the winter, along with cauliflower which are growing well, and carrots.
And just so that you don't feel as though you're missing out on a cute baby photo, here's the latest...our little homey girl
