I think Laila was getting annoyed with me while trying to get a photo of her in her new winter vest. She just looks so cute and it seems to suddenly fit her, well kinda, but close enough. She has had bit of a growth spurt lately, waking me up in the middle of the night starving. It seems that suddenly none of her clothes fit anymore and I have had to once again loosen the straps in the car seat. She's still on the smaller end of the growth chart. Someone has to be and I'm not overly anxious for her to get any heavier. It's still weird to me that it's winter...it's June! I'm still a little confused in my seasons, we were walking downtown the other day and a guy was out playing his sax. We were all bundled up and I had that feeling of Christmas anticipation, then had to check myself, it's not Christmas time, it's almost 4th of July time...oh wait, we don't have that here either, sigh, I'm not sure if I'll ever be a real Kiwi.

First off, She is a little cutie, and i love the vest!
Second, how strange that would be to not have 4th of July! I mean, I get it, but, it is weird to think about. And the whole winter in June, that doesn't compute. It is fun to hear your experiences way down south, I am always looking forward to funny differences you encounter.

Marnie, Sarah came in to look at the new pictures and she said she had to admit that Laila is just as cute as her babies. :-) Now that's saying alot coming from a mommy.
