Summer is almost here and the weather has been awesome! It has been so good to get outside as a family. It's been a great weekend spent in the garden, at the newly opened kids pool, and out in the park. Our favorite place to go right now is the duck pond, it has these crazy ducks that are way to used to humans feeding them, horses, swings, a swimming hole, and a good running path. We love to pack up dinner and head down to feed ourselves and the ducks on a warm evening. Laila is fascinated by the birds and I can actually get some dinner down her cause she's distracted and doesn't realize she's being fed. After a long weekend in the sun, we all fell into bed last night exhausted but happy!

Mark took Laila for a run and I tried out the new bike, sure is a lot easier and faster than running. As a matter of fact, I may never run again!

I never would have guessed. I guess we all have secret fears, eh. ;-)
It sounds heavenly there. We're just beginning our winter and although we've had some great sunny days I know it's only a matter of time until the clouds, rain and cold set in.
Our house will be put on the market next week so I'm trying to enjoy every minute of being here and working on getting excited about a new place.
