I've gotta say, Christmas is more exciting with kids. Even tho Laila doesn't get the Christmas thing yet, it's fun helping her open all her gifts (tho she did pretty well herself, and of course she got way more than us), and just seems like a real 'family' time of year.
We are looking forward to going down south tomorrow to spend a week or 2 with Mark's entire family - some who have never met Laila before. 2 weeks off work in the sun (hopefully) yippee!
We had a cool Christmas eve service celebration at church last night. Marnie and I sang and played together with the band which was great. I like the last line of 'Silent night' - 'Jesus, Lord at thy birth'
